Context
Let’s bring convenience to care: Ditto is on a mission to revolutionise care by providing people the right info, in the right format, at the right time.
Why?
Imagine your grandmother always bringing one of her children to the hospital, since she does not fully grasp what has been said. Let alone is she able to recall what's going on when she comes home. Or going through ten different apps and hospital portals to stitch together your medical history, in Latin. Healthcare systems are designed for the providers, and leave people feeling passive and ill-understood. In other words, they force us to be patient. We think that should be different, by putting you and your loved ones at the heart of care. That ambition is - naturally - universal and thus actually global.
Who?
A young yet turbo ambitious and experienced team, with little patience for the status quo. We are driven by a shared mission and excited about shipping fast. We hired ex-Google folks for AI, we hired Storytel’s Head of Growth for well, growth. We hope YOU push that bar further.
Since our launch in July 2025, we have hit #1 in the App Store, secured backing from major players like Menzis, and helped ~ 50,000 users understand their care journey. But we are just getting started.
This was a great validation that what we're trying to achieve matters for many.

What you’ll do
We are looking for a Head of Expansion to boost our next phase. You will move us from a Dutch success story to a European powerhouse, executing our entry into new markets like the UK, Spain, and Ireland. You won't just be "managing" growth; you will be the architect of our international footprint, proving that our "habit loops" of recording, summarizing, and sharing care work across borders. On top of that Big Task, you also further craft and execute on our B2B strategy: rolling Ditto out with healthcare partners is vital. No small role.
Key Responsibilities
Execute the European Roadmap: Lead the market entry for our top-tier targets: you will navigate the specific legal landscapes (specifically "one-party consent" laws) and cultural nuances of digitization in these regions.
Validate Business Models: You will design and run "revenue experiments" (e.g., partnerships with insurers, premium features) ensuring they support rather than hinder user growth.
Build "Founding Teams": You will recruit and mentor the first (virtual?) boots on the ground in our new territories, ensuring the "Ditto DNA"—pragmatic, fast, and mission-driven—transfers perfectly.
Navigate Complexity: Healthcare is fragmented. You will handle the operational heavy lifting—from privacy compliance (ISO/NEN certifications) to local entity setup—so our product teams can focus on shipping.
Prove the "Flywheel": You will be responsible for demonstrating that our growth loops (users sharing summaries with family, driving new organic installs) function effectively in new markets.
Boost the B2B: you amplify our efforts to connect not only patients, but also healthcare providers and key strategic partners, like hospitals and insurers.

Who You Are

A "Warp Speed" Operator: You thrive in the ambiguity of early-stage startups. You are allergic to bureaucracy and over-engineering; you want to test, validate, and ship at founder speed.
Strategic & Data-Driven: You understand why we prioritized the UK (Rank 1) over Germany (Rank 4) based on consent laws and digital maturity, and you use data to make similar high-stake decisions.
Culturally Agile: You have a track record of launching consumer-facing tech in multiple European jurisdictions. You understand that "Care" means something different in Madrid than it does in London.
Commercial Mindset: You aren't afraid of the "M-word". You can balance the mission of helping patients with the necessity of building a sustainable, profitable business.
Experienced: You have 5+ years in high-growth setups (Scale-up/Consulting/Founding), preferably with exposure to HealthTech but even better B2C consumer apps.
You brought brands abroad. Not by pressing a button, but by deeply understanding a market and all it takes to enter and win within months. You push the team to do what is necessary - because you can’t fly solo.
